DirectionsPaint the toilet paper roll green, representing the dragon's head. Cut eight (8) one-inch wide, 10-inch long strips from the tissue paper.Once the paint has dried, tape the strips of tissue just inside one end of the tube, representing the dragon's fire. Glue the wiggly eyes on either side of the mouth opening, to represent the dragon's eyes. To make the dragon "breath" fire, tuck the tissue paper inside the opening, then blow hard on the other end of the tube. Author CommentsThe Chinese Dragon, dancing up and down along the parade route at the Lantern Festival, is the most widely recognized symbol of the Chinese New Year.
