Directions1. Draw or trace the outline of a butterfly on a piece of waxed paper.2. Shave the broken crayons, using a knife or vegetable peeler (this is a good job for an adult). 3. Arrange the shavings within the outline of the butterfly. 4. Cover the waxed paper with a second sheet of waxed paper. Cover with a dishtowel or old cloth. 5. Iron two layers of waxed paper together on low heat. Let cool. 6. Cut out the butterfly and punch a hole near the top. Put the string through the hole and hang from a window lock. |
