Neat science project i& a great way to teach about the circle of animal life... while reusing some of your old coffee grinds Materials & Tools1 cup of used coffee grinds1/2 c cold coffee 1 c white flour 1/2 c salt waxed paper small objects like shells or rocks to make impressions in the dough circle cookie cutter or wide-mouthed glass mixing bowl |

Directions1. Mix together coffee grinds, cold coffee, flour and salt. Knead together and flatten on waxed paper.2. Cut out circles with cookie cutter or wide-mouthed glass. 3. Press objects into dough, then remove to form the fossil imprint. 4. Place fossils on waxed paper and let dry overnight until hard. |
