DirectionsYou can create beautiful eggs simply by boiling them with food products you have at home.Add one teaspoon of vinegar to the boiling water, to improve uptake of the color. Boil eggs for fifteen minutes in a large pot with any of the following foods to create the color you desire: Red: Beets, cranberries, or frozen raspberries Orange: Skins of yellow onion Yellow: Orange or lemon peels Green: Fresh spinach leaves Blue: Canned blueberries After fifteen minutes, turn off the flame and let the eggs sit in the water overnight. |
