This magnetic photo frame is the perfect place to display your favorite picture of you and your mom. Materials & ToolsThick cardboardDecorative wrapping paper or fabric 12-inch piece of ribbon or string Scissors or paper cutter White craft glue Photograph of you and mom Magnet, approximately 1/2 the size of the picture |

DirectionsUsing scissors or a paper cutter, trim four strips of cardboard to frame the size of the picture. Cut a fifth piece of cardboard that is large enough to cover the back of the picture.Place your cardboard pieces around the picture to be sure they fit. Adjust as necessary. Turn decorative paper or fabric right side down and place cardboard strips on top of them. Lightly trace around the cardboard. Cut out the patterns and glue them onto the cardboard pieces. Allow frame sides to dry thoroughly. Glue your photograph onto the backing and then glue the frame pieces around the photo. Glue the ribbon onto the frame in a decorative fashion. Glue the magnet onto the back of the frame. For smaller children, cut out the frame ahead of time and have them decorate with markers, crayons or stickers. Author CommentsAppropriate age: 7 years+ |
